Stuffed Chicken Breast Stuffed with Cheese and Squash Flower in Poblano Chile Sauce

For 6 people.

INGREDIENTS

6 chicken breasts de.boned, flattende, and seasoned with salt and pepper
4 cans of Sabores Aztecas squash flowers
2 cans of Sabores Aztecas Poblano Chile Cream
6 slices of Mozzarella cheese
3 tbsp of flour
3 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

PROCEDURE

  • Drain the Sabores Aztecas Squash flowers.

  • Stuff the chicken breasts with squash flowers and mozzarella cheese, then roll up the chicken breasts.

  • Brown the chicken breasts in a frying pan with VERY hot oil.

  • In another frying pan prepare the roux with the flour and the butter, to thicken the Sabores Aztecas Chile Poblano Cream.

  • To thicken the cream the only thing you have to do is put it over medium heat slowly adding the roux with a whisk to avoid lumps. Once boiling lower the flame and let cook 5 minutes more.

  • Finally. Put the chicken breast in a Pyrex dish and add the poblano cream and put in a 350-degree oven for 25-30 minutes.

  • Take from the oven in a 100% Mexican dish has been served!
