Green rice with Poblano Peppers of Sabores Aztecas
 


Mexican - Garnish
Ready in: 60 minutes.
8 Servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups of rice.
4 cups of water.
1 can of Whole Poblano Peppers of Sabores Aztecas.
½ onion.
2 cloves of garlic.
2 spoonfuls of salt.
Oil to the pleasure.

PROCEDURE

  • The rice is soaked in hot water and then is drained.
  • It is fried lightly in oil and with the finely chopped onion.
  • The poblano peppers are liquidized together with the garlics and the water.
  • Once fried the rice cooks in the Poblano pepper sauce during 20 minutes after it boils, season with salt and spices to the pleasure.
